Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the UnboundAmerican.com website (the "Website"), operated by Reuven Krumbein, trading as Unbound American, an Israeli Osek Murshe registered under number 305662157 ("Unbound American," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Website, or by engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or engage our services.

1. Who We Are and What We Do

Unbound American provides administrative and logistical coordination services to dual US-Israeli citizens navigating the process of renouncing United States citizenship, including documentation preparation and review, embassy or consulate appointment scheduling, correspondence coordination, courier coordination, and, depending on the service tier, travel logistics.

Reuven Krumbein is admitted to practice law in Israel. However, the services provided through this Website and under any service engagement with Unbound American are administrative and logistical only. They do not constitute legal services, legal representation, or legal advice, and they do not create an attorney-client relationship or attract attorney-client privilege. Unbound American is not a law firm and does not provide legal, tax, or financial advice of any kind, including in relation to United States immigration law, United States tax law (including the expatriation tax under IRC §877A), or the legal or financial consequences of renouncing United States citizenship. You are solely responsible for obtaining independent legal, tax, and financial advice regarding your decision to renounce United States citizenship, from advisors of your own choosing.

2. Use of the Website

You may use the Website to learn about our Services and to submit an inquiry through our intake form. You agree to provide accurate and truthful information when submitting any form on the Website, and not to use the Website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Website.

3. Engagement of Services

Submitting an inquiry through the Website, including the "Start Your Journey" form, does not itself create any obligation on either party to proceed. An engagement for Services is only formed once you and Unbound American sign a separate, individually agreed Service Agreement setting out the applicable service tier, fees, payment schedule, and other terms specific to your engagement. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a signed Service Agreement, the signed Service Agreement governs.

4. Fees

Fees for our Services are as set out in your signed Service Agreement, and, unless otherwise stated, are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) at the applicable rate.

5. Required Advisor Confirmation

Before we begin any work under an engagement, we require every client to confirm, in writing, that they have independently consulted a qualified tax and/or financial advisor of their own choosing regarding their decision to renounce United States citizenship and its implications. We will not commence Services without this confirmation.

6. Third-Party Service Providers

We use a number of third-party service providers to operate the Website and deliver our Services, including PayPal for payment processing, PandaDoc for contracts and digital signatures, HubSpot for customer relationship management, Google Workspace for document storage and email, Netlify for website hosting, Make for workflow automation and form processing, Meta Platforms for advertising and conversion tracking, and Google Analytics for website analytics. Our use of these providers, and the personal data shared with them, is described further in our Privacy Policy. We are not liable for any failure, outage, or error of any third-party service provider.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website, including text, graphics, and design, is the property of Unbound American and may not be reproduced without our written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our liability arising out of or in connection with your use of the Website, or any Services engaged, shall not exceed the fees actually paid to us for the relevant engagement. We are not liable for any decision made by any embassy, consulate, or governmental authority, for the outcome of any appointment, for the approval or denial of a Certificate of Loss of Nationality, or for any other consequence of your decision to renounce United States citizenship.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the State of Israel.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Website after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
