Questions We Hear Often
Straightforward answers about legality, scope, and what we do and don't do.
We handle every administrative and logistical step involved in renouncing US citizenship — from preparing your documentation and securing your embassy appointment, to managing all correspondence on your behalf and coordinating travel where needed. You make the decision. We handle everything that follows.
You can. However, securing an embassy appointment, preparing documentation correctly, and coordinating all logistics while managing your normal life is a significant undertaking. We've done this ourselves and for others. We know every step, every potential pitfall, and the fastest route through the process at any given time.
Anyone who holds dual US-Israeli citizenship and has reached the conclusion that renunciation is the right step for them. Whether you're a business owner dealing with ongoing tax obligations or simply tired of annual compliance costs, if you've made your decision, we're here to execute it.
From the moment you engage us to your embassy appointment, the timeline depends largely on appointment availability at the time of your engagement. We monitor availability across multiple locations and route you to the fastest option. In our experience, timelines range from a few weeks to a few months.
Following your appointment, the embassy forwards your case to Washington for processing. Once approved, your Certificate of Loss of Nationality is issued and delivered to you. We remain available throughout this period and coordinate the final delivery directly.
You certainly need independent professional consultation before making this decision — to understand the financial, tax, and personal implications specific to your situation. But once you've made up your mind, what remains is navigating bureaucratic red tape, and that doesn't require a lawyer. That's exactly where we come in. We require every client to confirm independent professional consultation before we begin work — not as a formality, but because your protection matters to us.
This is precisely the kind of question your financial advisor needs to answer based on your individual situation. It is one of the most important conversations to have before making any decision, and it is why we require independent professional consultation before onboarding any client.
We monitor appointment availability across multiple locations simultaneously — including Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Nicosia, Valletta, Sofia, and others — and route each client to the fastest available appointment at the time of their engagement.
Embassy and flight cancellations are outside our control. In such events, we will make every effort to reschedule at no additional service fee. Our full cancellation and refund policy is detailed in our service agreement.
During onboarding we identify any non-standard documents your specific situation requires. We can assist in obtaining them for an additional fee, or you can obtain them independently. All third party costs for document procurement are borne by the client.
